विराट कोहली ने चेन्नै टेस्ट की दूसरी पारी में 62 रन की अर्धशतकीय पारी खेली। उन्होंने 149 गेंदों पर 7 चौके लगाए। इस पारी में उनका स्ट्राइक रेट 41 के करीब रहा। उन्होंने संयमित अंदाज में खेलते हुए टीम को 200 के पार भी पहुंचाया। वह टीम के 7वें विकेट के तौर पर 202 के स्कोर पर पविलियन लौटे।
